With the team finding itself in the relegation zone, Paul Hunt decided to step down from his position of First Team Manager. Paul decided that the time was right for the team and club and felt, and I quote his words, “..a different voice in the dressing room and new ideas may be what’s needed for the lads to get the success they deserve”. We thank Paul for all his hard work and wish him well for the future. The Club then moved quickly to find a replacement and were pleased to announce that Mark Hunter will now take over the role of First Team Manager. We welcome Mark to “Team Heacham” and wish him all the best and i am sure that everyone at the club will give him the support that is needed to make the second half of the season a success.

On the field results haven't gone our way with some very narrow defeats and our interest in the cup competitions for this season has come to an end. In the Norfolk Senior Cup we had a very good win against Gt Yarmouth Town 3-2 but in the next round went out to Norwich City U18 by the same score, with the winner coming very late in the game. In the League Cup we saw another narrow defeat at Fakenham Town.

In the league the team still finds itself in the relegation zone but with still 19 league games to go there is a positive mood in the club that we can start to climb the table.

U18’s TEAM (playing in The Thurlow Nunn Youth Football League - West
Division).

The team have only been involved in 3 games (all away) since the last report and what a mixture of results we have seen. A really good away win was followed by what can only be described as a trouncing at Deeping Rangers but then the team responded magnificently with an away draw at second in the table March Town.

The Official Heacham F C pin badge (£3 each) and the Anglian Combination Premier Champions 2021/2 pin badge (now reduced to £2 each) can be purchased on match days but they are also available from behind the bar at The Heacham Sports & Social Club.

The 2025 “50/50 Club”

November winners:-

The December draw will take place on Saturday 6th December after the home game v Stowmarket Town, in the Sports & Social Club.

The monthly prizes so far this year have been as follows:-

The 2026 “50/50 Club”

The intention is to run the “50/50 Club” again next year. The format will be the same as this year and full details will be available mid November via our facebook page and leaflets will be distributed at home games and around the village. The cost for the complete year will again be £13 per number and you will be able to purchase as many numbers as you want. To clarify that any numbers you purchase will be included in every monthly draw, so you could win more than once throughout the year.
Note: Prize money will be determined by how many numbers are sold (prize money this year was based on 156 numbers being sold). Please see above for the amounts paid out monthly this year.
