HEACHAM F C
The Club currently runs 3 teams and they are as follows:-
1ST TEAM (playing in The Thurlow Nunn Premier Division).
Firstly before the update on recent results and league position, it is with great delight that Heacham FC have our first 2 inductees into “The Heacham FC Hall of Fame”. At our recent home match v Dereham Town, David Page and Ed Tann became the first names to appear on the “Hall of Fame” plaque (which will be displayed in the pavilion). Congratulations to both these fantastic servants to Heacham FC.
With 2 wins and a draw from the last 5 games the team is currently out of the relegation zone (with a buffer of a 5 point gap) and the 2 defeats suffered were to teams currently sitting in the play-off places. There is a good feeling within the club that the team will be able to retain its position in this league and should be helped by the fact that the teams below us have games between themselves before the end of the season. Again your support for the remaining home games will be vital, so please come along and be that “12th man” on Saturday 18th April for our final game of the season. Your support does make a difference and the players do really appreciate it.
Recent results have been as follows (all league):-
home v Hadleigh United - won 2-0
away v Soham Town Rangers - lost 0-4
away v Walsham Le Willows - won 3-2

RESERVE TEAM (playing in The Fosters Solicitors Anglian Combination Div 3
North).
The team has had a good run of form with 7 points from the last 3 games (all away from home). They still sit in 6th position in the league and with games still in hand on many of the teams above, there is still a very good opportunity for the team to push for a promotion spot. With 6 of the final 9 games being at home there is the chance to put pressure on those teams above.
