Ross McNeil took the chance to praise the players and the club's 'unbelievable' backroom staff after Heacham kept their 100 per cent record intact.
A John Flanagan double and Sam Lammiman goal saw the visitors run out comfortable 3-0 winners at Mattishall - but after the game McNeil focused on Heacham's 'unsung heroes', as the club continue to set the pace at the top of the Anglian Combination Premier Division.
McNeil said: "It has been a great start but we're not going to get carried away with what's happening and we'll look at it again at Christmas.
"The players have been absolutely magnificent on the pitch so far, but our good start isn't just about them, it's about the all of the people working hard behind the scenes too.
"Everyone is working so hard to help try to get the club to where it wants to be."
Facing a tough assignment on their travels, the Magpies took control after a goalless first half to make it six wins from as many games.
The deadly Flanagan gave Heacham the lead after being set up by Lammiman and, shortly after Ed Tann had cleared an Alex Curran effort off the line, the striker returned the compliment by setting up the youngster to slot home the Magpies' second.
Heacham's third goal by Flanagan, this time assisted by Josh Winner, wrapped up the points as Heacham made their fitness tell in the second half.
"The lads were unbelievable," enthused McNeil after the game.
"It was a really tough game and Mattishall were perhaps the better side in the first half but our back four and goalkeeper were magnificent.
"We had several players missing but the lads who came in and who also came off the bench all played their part, we've got a very strong squad.
"It was great to see Sam Lammiman get on the scoresheet as he epitomises everything the club is about, he's a real character."
