The team finally finished the season in 15th position, despite losing the final two games of the season. In summary the team improved from 18th position the previous season and accumulated 42 points, compared with only 28 the previous season. The number of goals scored also improved greatly:- in the 2024/5 season a total of 61 goals were scored (55 league and 6 in all cup competitions), compared with only 38 (27 league and 11 cup) the previous season.
The Football Club are delighted to announce that Paul Hunt will be continuing in his role as First Team Manager into next season. Paul has been pivotal in seeing an improved season for the first team and setting a solid foundation to build on going forward.

Fantastic News - The team finished as runners-up and have gained promotion in their very first season. Tremendous achievement by the team, which consisted of many of the young players from the U18’s team.

U18’s TEAM (playing in The Thurlow Nunn Youth Football League - North Division)

The team finished in 4th place. A wonderful achievement in the first season at this level. As previously mentioned throughout the season many players have played for the reserves and a number have also made appearances for the first team.

Supporters Club Membership for the 2024/5 season is now closed.

“GOALS/GOALS/GOALS” COMPETITION :-

We have a winner.

Margaret Taylor and Christine Abbott both finished on 281 goals. Therefore, it came down to which individual team (in their group), who scored the most goals.
Margaret with Barnet,who scored 97 goals, wins the first prize of £140
Christine with Gateshead, who scored 76 goals, and is our runner-up and wins £60.

It is proposed to run the competition again next season. Details in the July edition of the Newsletter.
