In the league the first team continue to hold their own and have regularly picked up points to maintain their safe position in the league table. In the Norfolk Senior Cup the team progressed into the next round with a hard fought victory (1-0) away at Dussindale & Hellesden, despite finishing the game with 9 men. The reward is an away trip to play at The Walks against Kings Lynn U23’s.

The League Challenge Cup match against Downham Town is still to be played, after the game had been postponed twice due to the bad weather. This has now resulted in the match being switched to Heacham and is due to be played on Tuesday 16th January k.o.7.45pm.

Heacham F.C. U16’s

They compete in The Norfolk Combined Youth Football League (Under 16 Premier League).

The team can look forward to the next round of The John Savage Cup (Norfolk FA County Cup) after a convincing away win at Horsford F.C. U16 by 6 goals to 1. They will now play at home v Wroxham FC U15 EJA on Sunday 21st January k.o.1.30pm. In the league the team have suffered with various fixture postponements/changes and have played very little football in the past 2 months.

Following a club meeting we can now share the prices for this season, we have taken on board the current economic climate, and frozen as many prices as possible, in areas where there is an increase, we have kept the increase to a minimum.

The 2024 “50/50 Club”

Application to join this year's scheme has now closed. This year has seen an increase from 134 participants last year to a magnificent 151 members for the current year. There will be 2 monthly prizes of £50 and £25 (plus for January an additional 3rd prize of £12). The first draw for 2024 will take place on 20th January in the Social Club, after the home match v Soham Town Rangers. Details of our first winners will be in next month's issue of the Newsletter.
